Ces deux organisations syndicales sont affili\u00e9es \u00e0 la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration des syndicats du Myanmar (CTUM).<\/p><p>Les syndicats ne sont autoris\u00e9s au Myanmar que depuis 2012, quand les premiers pas vers la d\u00e9mocratie ont eu lieu dans le pays jusqu&rsquo;alors dirig\u00e9 par un r\u00e9gime militaire. Les dirigeants des affili\u00e9s de IndustriALL dans le pays soulignent le besoin \u00e9norme de formation et de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s, et d&rsquo;une l\u00e9gislation mieux \u00e0 m\u00eame de prot\u00e9ger les travailleurs et travailleuses.<\/p><p>Les salaires dans l&rsquo;industrie et les mines au Myanmar varient habituellement entre 60 et 200 USD par mois. Le gouvernement cherche actuellement \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un salaire minimum et esp\u00e8re y parvenir au cours de ce printemps. Jyrki Raina a soulign\u00e9 l&rsquo;importance de fixer un salaire minimum suffisant pour vivre.<\/p><p>&ldquo;Les travailleurs et travailleuses doivent recevoir un salaire permettant de vivre. Le nombre d&rsquo;heures suppl\u00e9mentaires doit \u00eatre raisonnable, les conditions de sant\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 doivent \u00eatre bonnes sur les lieux de travail, et les salari\u00e9s doivent avoir le droit d&rsquo;adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 un syndicat.<\/p><p>&ldquo;Le Myanmar \u00e9tant ouvert aux investissements de l&rsquo;\u00e9tranger, ces principes de base envoient un important message au monde, notamment \u00e0 l&rsquo;industrie de la confection et de la mode sensible \u00e0 tout ce qui touche \u00e0 son image.&rdquo;<\/p><p>L&rsquo;investissement direct \u00e9tranger r\u00e9alise une croissance rapide, et plusieurs entreprises multinationales cherchent \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des activit\u00e9s au Myanmar dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p><p>&ldquo;IndustriALL soutient l&rsquo;\u00e9tablissement de bonnes relations travail-patronat au niveau des entreprises, ce qui n\u00e9cessite une formation des repr\u00e9sentant(e)s des syndicats et des directions d&rsquo;entreprise. L&rsquo;Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT) est invit\u00e9e donc \u00e0 fournir un soutien technique dans ce domaine&rdquo;, a dit Raina.<\/p><p>Des conflits ont \u00e9clat\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment dans plusieurs usines pour exiger des salaires plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s.
