Le syndicat soutient que le raisonnement des employeurs est que moins d&rsquo;argent pour le syndicat signifie un moins bon service aux membres et qu&rsquo;un syndicat faible conduira alors \u00e0 une d\u00e9saffection des membres \u00e0 son \u00e9gard.<\/p><p>Wander Mkhonza, Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l&rsquo;ATUSWA, d\u00e9clare&nbsp;:<\/p><blockquote><p>&ldquo;C&rsquo;est un cas classique de tentative de casse syndicale. Les employeurs du secteur du textile et de la confection empruntent la voie juridique non pas parce qu&rsquo;ils cherchent \u00e0 obtenir r\u00e9paration devant les tribunaux, mais simplement pour frustrer les syndicats et les obliger \u00e0 engager d&rsquo;\u00e9normes frais de justice.<\/p><p>Les employeurs ne s&rsquo;inqui\u00e8tent m\u00eame pas de savoir s&rsquo;ils vont gagner les proc\u00e8s&nbsp;; ils vont simplement au tribunal parce qu&rsquo;ils ont l&rsquo;argent n\u00e9cessaire pour des affaires interminables en sachant parfaitement que les syndicats ont beaucoup \u00e0 perdre financi\u00e8rement dans de longues batailles judiciaires.&rdquo;<\/p><\/blockquote><p>En ao\u00fbt 2018, l&rsquo;ATUSWA a rencontr\u00e9 ses membres \u00e0 Zheng Yong, Nhlangano, afin de d\u00e9cider s&rsquo;il fallait donner le feu vert \u00e0 une proposition de gr\u00e8ve sur le salaire vital suite \u00e0 un conflit avec l&rsquo;employeur. La r\u00e9union a attir\u00e9 des milliers de travailleurs d&rsquo;autres usines.<\/p><figure class=\"imageArticle imageMedium\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/2020\/ESWATINI\/FTM\/dsc_0881.jpg\" style=\"width: 600px;height: 400px\" \/><figcaption class=\"imageContent\">&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>Cependant, les travailleurs ont opt\u00e9 pour la n\u00e9gociation par le biais de la convention collective que le syndicat avait conclue avec Zheng Yong. L&rsquo;obtention du salaire vital est l&rsquo;un des principaux griefs des travailleurs du secteur du textile et de la confection, qui per\u00e7oivent E1.800 par mois (108 dollars). Le syndicat fait campagne pour un salaire minimum vital de E3.500 (210 dollars US).<\/p><p>Lorsque les travailleurs sont retourn\u00e9s au travail apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9union, la direction de Zheng Yong avait verrouill\u00e9 les grilles, ce qui a fait enrager les travailleurs qui ont ensuite form\u00e9 un piquet,&nbsp; sur lequel les ont rejoints des travailleurs de la confection de la FTM et d&rsquo;autres usines. La police a aggrav\u00e9 la situation d\u00e9j\u00e0 tendue en tirant des gaz lacrymog\u00e8nes en direction des travailleurs qui s&rsquo;\u00e9taient rassembl\u00e9s, d\u00e9clenchant ainsi les manifestations.<\/p><p>Christina Hajagos-Clausen, Directrice d&rsquo;IndustriALL pour le textile et la confection, indique&nbsp;:<\/p><blockquote><p>&ldquo;Les propri\u00e9taires d&rsquo;usines doivent s&rsquo;efforcer d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir de meilleures relations sociales avec les syndicats et ne pas comploter pour les d\u00e9truire.
