Les entreprises qui maintiennent leurs activit\u00e9s au Myanmar sont des complices r\u00e9ticents d&#039;une crise humanitaire qui s&#039;aggrave et financent de ce fait la guerre que les militaires livrent \u00e0 leur propre peuple, avec r\u00e9cemment des frappes a\u00e9riennes qui ont fait plus d&#039;une centaine de victimes.<\/p><p>La situation ne cesse de se d\u00e9grader. Les syndicats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9s hors la loi et en l&#039;absence de m\u00e9canismes pour leur venir en aide et sans libert\u00e9 d&#039;association, les travailleurs sont extr\u00eamement vuln\u00e9rables. Les violations \u00e0 l&#039;encontre des travailleurs se multiplient, tout comme l&#039;exploitation salariale, le travail forc\u00e9 et le harc\u00e8lement des femmes. Les militaires r\u00e9priment les syndicats et leurs membres, avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industriall-union.org\/violent-attack-against-myanmar-unionists\" target=\"_parent\">attaques et arrestations violentes<\/a>. Plus d&#039;une soixantaine de syndicalistes sont emprisonn\u00e9s sur base d&#039;accusations forg\u00e9es de toutes pi\u00e8ces, et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industriall-union.org\/stand-with-imprisoned-trade-unionists-on-human-rights-day\" target=\"_parent\">ils doivent \u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9s imm\u00e9diatement<\/a>.<\/p><p>Le projet MADE in Myanmar financ\u00e9 par l&#039;Union europ\u00e9enne, qui pr\u00e9tend soutenir le secteur de l&#039;habillement en rempla\u00e7ant les syndicats par des repr\u00e9sentants des &quot;travailleurs&quot; choisis par l&#039;employeur, est pr\u00e9occupant. Les employeurs profitent de la situation politique pour d\u00e9poss\u00e9der les travailleurs de leurs droits. Ce programme permet aux violations des droits de l&#039;homme et des droits au travail de se poursuivre au Myanmar tout en contribuant \u00e0 l\u00e9gitimer les militaires.<\/p><p>La libert\u00e9 d&#039;association est un droit fondamental de l&#039;homme et un principe fondamental de l&#039;Union europ\u00e9enne; les restrictions impos\u00e9es aux syndicats et au droit de n\u00e9gocier collectivement dans un Myanmar sous r\u00e9gime militaire constituent un grave sujet de pr\u00e9occupation qui <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industriall-union.org\/myanmar-unions-condemn-eu-garment-sector-intiative\" target=\"_parent\">met en question cette initiative de l&#039;UE<\/a>.<\/p><p>Les investissements impactent durablement les droits au travail. Il faudrait que toutes les entreprises quittent le Myanmar pour ass\u00e9cher le financement des militaires. Planifier une <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industriall-union.org\/framework-for-a-responsible-business-disengagement-from-myanmar\" target=\"_parent\">sortie responsable <\/a>elle la seule d\u00e9marche coh\u00e9rente si l&#039;on veut d\u00e9fendre les droits de l&#039;homme reconnus mondialement.
