{"id":155449,"date":"2022-02-21T12:00:01","date_gmt":"2022-02-21T12:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/admin.industriall-union.org\/molex-malasia-debe-poner-fin-a-la-represion-sindical\/"},"modified":"2025-01-28T04:35:15","modified_gmt":"2025-01-28T04:35:15","slug":"molex-malasia-debe-poner-fin-a-la-represion-sindical","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/admin.industriall-union.org\/es\/molex-malasia-debe-poner-fin-a-la-represion-sindical\/","title":{"rendered":"Molex Malasia debe poner fin a la represi\u00f3n sindical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Durante una reuni\u00f3n informativa en la planta de Penang de Molex Malasia el 7 de febrero, la direcci\u00f3n advirti\u00f3 a los trabajadores que no votaran por el Sindicato de Empleados de la Industria Electr\u00f3nica de la Regi\u00f3n Norte (EIEUNR).<\/p><p>Seg\u00fan el sindicato, la direcci\u00f3n de Molex Malasia amenaz\u00f3 a los trabajadores con que no recibir\u00edan bonificaciones y pondr\u00edan en peligro su futuro si votaban por el sindicato.<\/p><p>Despu\u00e9s de que el sindicato presentara una queja por estas pr\u00e1cticas antisindicales, el Departamento de Relaciones Laborales suspendi\u00f3 una votaci\u00f3n secreta programada para el 22 de febrero.<\/p><p>El presidente del EIEUNR, Mohd Razi bin Rahim, expres\u00f3:<\/p><blockquote><p>&ldquo;Molex Malasia ha interferido injustamente en el proceso de solicitud de reconocimiento. Exigimos una reuni\u00f3n informativa adecuada para los trabajadores proporcionada por EIEUNR y el Departamento de Relaciones Laborales para mitigar el da\u00f1o causado por la direcci\u00f3n&rdquo;.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>La legislaci\u00f3n laboral de Malasia proh\u00edbe que los empleadores interfieran en el proceso de organizaci\u00f3n sindical. Sin embargo, los trabajadores de este pa\u00eds suelen ser v\u00edctimas de la intimidaci\u00f3n cuando ejercen su derecho a afiliarse a un sindicato.<\/p><p>En una carta dirigida al director ejecutivo de Molex, Joe Nelligan, el secretario general de IndustriALL Global Union, Atle H\u00f8ie, inst\u00f3 a la empresa a dejar de intimidar a los trabajadores y respetar su libertad sindical.<\/p><blockquote><p>&ldquo;Queremos recordar a Molex que a trav\u00e9s de su c\u00f3digo de conducta se comprometi\u00f3 a respetar el principio de no discriminaci\u00f3n y las disposiciones legales en materia laboral, incluido el respeto de la libertad sindical&rdquo;.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>La industria el\u00e9ctrica y electr\u00f3nica es un sector manufacturero clave para Malasia: representa el 35 por ciento de las exportaciones totales del pa\u00eds y emplea a unos 560.000 trabajadores.<\/p><p>Molex es un fabricante internacional de sistemas de conectividad electr\u00f3nicos, el\u00e9ctricos y de fibra \u00f3ptica para diversos sectores, tales como de comunicaciones de datos, de salud, industrial, automotor y de la electr\u00f3nica de consumo.
